Celebrate the Holidays at the Best Indoor & Outdoor Skating Rinks in Burlington

The holidays are fast approaching and skating is a great way to relax with friends and family. Burlington has many skating locations to offer for all ages and skill groups, and a selection of scheduled events open to the public.
The city of Burlington is offering a special “Play and Save” promotion, offering 40% off the rental price this holiday season starting December 1st 2017 to January 7th 2018 on all indoor ice rinks. If you don’t find a listed event to attend, you can rent it yourself at a special holiday rate.

The skates will run back to back with floods after each hour throughout the given time slot. Waitlists will be managed by staff during the skates, all ages welcome.

Bring your hockey stick, hockey gloves, a puck or two, and some friends out to shoot the puck around. Central Recreational Centre is a great place to build hockey skills with classes dedicated to children and youths!

Rotary Centennial Pond

This 10,000 square-foot pond overlooks Lake Ontario and sees 7,000 skaters each season. Nearby restaurants include Murphy’s Ice Cream Parlour and the Sunshine Donut Co.

Spencer Smith Park – Skating Pond

Spencer Smith Park features a wide promenade and is home to many of the City of Burlington’s signature festival and events. Nearby landmarks include the Naval War Memorial, the Brant Street Pier, the Terry Fox Monument, and the Lady of the Lake Bronze Sculpture. Some nearby restaurants include Murphy’s Ice Cream Parlour and the Sunshine Donut Co.
