City of Burlington’s 52nd Annual Santa Claus Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town! Enjoy the fun and festivities of this special 52nd presentation of Burlington’s Santa Claus Parade.

This year’s festivities will feature an outstanding lineup of bands, colourful characters and floats representing local community organizations and businesses. The guest of honour, Santa will be on hand to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Santa 5K Run
Saturday
Dec. 9, 2017, 10:05 AM @ Burlington City Hall.

Canada’s original all-Santa race! Join the Santa 5k and run the streets of Burlington along with hundreds of other runners dressed like Santa Claus! This fun and unique run is a holiday favourite for many.

You must wear a Santa suit to participate in the race! Santa suits come with the price of registration, or you can bring your own. The race is held to benefit the Easter Seals, a local non-profit organization that supports children with disabilities.

Lakeside Festival of Lights

Dec. 1, 2017 to Monday, Jan. 8th, 2018 @ Spencer Smith Park.

The Burlington Festival of Lights is Burlington’s longest running festival, lighting up the waterfront from dusk to dawn over the holiday season. 2017 marks the festival’s 22nd year.

Over 60 festive displays will light up Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park through the holiday season. Wander through the park or get a full view of the themed displays while driving along Lakeshore Road at the city’s waterfront. The Festival of Lights is a magical sight for the whole family!

Burlington is the place to be to experience the magic of the winter season with both friends and family. There’s always something happening in one of Canada’s fastest growing mid-sized city.
